Position: Deal Desk Analyst

Overview:
Join our dynamic team at Global Technology Company as a Deal Desk Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our sales operations, ensuring the smooth execution of deals through efficient analysis and support.
Responsibilities:
1. Deal Structuring: Collaborate with sales teams to structure and review complex deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
2. Pricing and Quoting: Utilize Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system to generate accurate quotes and pricing proposals for customers.
3. Contract Review: Review contracts and agreements to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements.
4. Sales Support: Provide support to sales teams in navigating deal-related inquiries, escalations, and negotiations, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
5. Data Analysis: Analyze deal metrics and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
6. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize deal desk processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various teams, including sales, finance, legal, and operations, to streamline deal execution and resolve issues promptly.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of deal terms, approvals, and documentation, and generate reports as needed to track deal pipeline and performance.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, or related roles within the technology industry.
2. Oracle CPQ Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system is essential, including hands-on experience with configuration, pricing, and quoting processes.
3. Salesforce/SFDC Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce or SFDC (Salesforce.com) platform is required, including experience in data entry, reporting, and dashboard creation.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
5. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in dealing with complex deal structures, pricing, and contracts.
7. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
8. Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred.
