Dealership Handyman Maintenance Person

Job Summary:
Koeppel Auto Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our facilities team. The Handyman will perform a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks to keep our dealership buildings, grounds, and equipment in top condition. From fixing minor repairs to assisting with facility upgrades, this role ensures a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance & Repairs

• 
  

  Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Repair or replace doors, windows, locks, furniture, and fixtures.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with installation of new equipment, furniture, and dealership fixtures.

  
  


• 
  

  Paint and touch up surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.

  
  

Building Upkeep

• 
  

  Inspect dealership facilities inside and out to identify and address maintenance needs.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform basic landscaping (mowing, trimming, debris removal).

  
  


• 
  

  Keep parking lots and walkways clear of trash, snow, and ice for safety.

  
  

Tool & Equipment Maintenance

• 
  

  Maintain and service tools, equipment, and vehicles used for repairs.

  
  


• 
  

  Report major equipment issues to the Facilities Manager.

  
  

Safety & Compliance

• 
  

  Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment as required.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized to minimize hazards.

  
  

Additional Duties

  Respond to work orders and service requests from dealership departments.

  Assist with moving, arranging, and setting up furniture or equipment.

  Handle urgent repair needs promptly and professionally.

  
  

Qualifications:

  Previous experience in general maintenance, repairs, or handyman work.

  Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
