The Parts Support role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the parts department. This position is responsible for assisting with inventory management, order processing, and delivering excellent customer service to both internal teams (service technicians) and external customers. The role contributes directly to the dealership’s overall efficiency by ensuring the timely availability of parts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, restocking, and maintaining accurate parts inventory to ensure availability and minimize downtime.


• Receive, process, and document incoming orders, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely order fulfillment.


• Coordinate the prompt delivery of parts to service technicians and customers, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently.


• Provide courteous and knowledgeable support to both internal (technicians) and external (retail and wholesale) customers regarding part availability and pricing.


• Partner with vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and handle parts returns for defective items or warranty claims.


• Organize and label new parts accurately upon receipt, ensuring they are stored in appropriate locations for easy access.


• Follow all safety guidelines in handling, storing, and organizing parts to maintain a safe working environment.


• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred

Pay: $18 - $18 / hour
