Dealing and Risk Monitoring Officer

Emerald Zebra is working closely with an International FinTech Company and seeking to hire a Dealing and Risk Monitoring Officer to join their team in Limassol, Cyprus.

This role offers the chance to contribute to efficient trading operations and robust risk management processes in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of capital markets, keen attention to detail, and a passion for optimizing systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance and optimize trading parameters through routine checks.
• Collaborate with technical teams to maintain and enhance trading and monitoring systems.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and internal controls in line with regulatory standards.
• Analyse client trading behaviour, monitor exposures, and identify anomalies or risks.
• Provide internal support to client-facing teams on trading-related matters.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc risk and performance reports for key stakeholders.
• Stay informed on market movements and conduct relevant financial research.

Experience and Background:

• Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a trading, risk, or data analysis role within a financial institution.
• Advanced CySEC certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and MiFID II regulations.
• Experience with regulatory reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Python is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a bonus.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts: Monday to Friday (08:0016:00 and 16:0024:00), including Public Holidays.
