Job Description - Dean of Culture (25/26 School Year)

But we are so much more than this.

They manage school-wide behavioral systems and ensure consistent expectations and support. Through regular classroom walkthroughs, home visits, and family communication, they build strong relationships that reinforce a positive school culture. The Dean collaborates closely with instructional leaders, grade-level teams, MTSS, and attendance teams to develop and monitor interventions, lead character development groups, and support student engagement. They model and coach staff in maintaining high behavioral and academic expectations.

  • Partner with attendance and MTSS teams to analyze data and develop Tier 1–3 interventions that support student engagement and success.

  • Facilitate small group character development and social-emotional learning using research-based curricula.

  • Respond to behavioral incidents, lead mediations, support crisis response, and uphold Title IX investigation protocols as needed.

  • Model high expectations for student behavior and coach staff in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and joyful school culture.
