Declaration Church Residency

Residents at Declaration Church serve the body of Christ using their particular gifting as they further discover how God has equipped them for ministry and how He will deploy them into future Gospel-advancing assignments. At this stage of our church’s story, residents are specifically invited onto our ministry team to fill specific needs and help build foundational components of our mission in the Brazos Valley and beyond. Residents are full-responsibility church staff members, are discipled, disciple others, and are trained to be sent out.

Although the specific ministry demands of each week make actual work hours fluctuate, residents at Declaration Church should work an average of 40 hours each week. We want to ensure that residents are taking two days off to rest each week.

• Character & Personal Development: 2 hours per week
• Theological Development: 2 hours per week
• Staff Meetings & Staff Trainings: 3-4 hours per week
• Professional Development: 1-2 hours per week
• Specialized Track: 16 hours per week
• Administration & Support Raising: 4 hours per week
• Misc. Sunday Services Duties: 6 hours per week
