POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Assistant Plant Manager and Raw Materials Supervisor, this position supports the Deco Rock, Pallet Repair and Raw Material Loaders; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Maintain efficient production from the FFS and Robot Palletizer equipment.


• Hand stack and then wrap pallets as needed.


• Check and maintain forklift for, oil, water, and hydraulic fluids.


• Check and maintain sealer. Keep clean, oil chain, and blow off.


• Keep asphalt belt oiled.


• Place pallet in proper location.


• Inventory of empty bags.


• Keep work area clean.


• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.


• All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.


• Predictable, and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.


• On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.


• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and superiors.


• Ability to operate forklift, sealer and any other equipment required to perform duties.


• Predictable, and Regular attendance is required. Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekend shifts.

• Plant environment with moderate to loud noise.


• Work near moving mechanical parts, heat or cold (non-weather) conditions, vibration.

SALARY RANGE: $22-$27/HR. DOE
