Defense Attorney

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal cases from pre-trial to post-conviction.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including motions and briefs.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies tailored to each case.
• Engage in negotiations with prosecutors to seek favorable outcomes for clients.
• Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support case arguments.
• Provide clients with sound legal advice and keep them informed of case progress.
• Interact with courts, law enforcement, and other attorneys in a professional manner.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
• 2+ years of experience in criminal defense or related legal practice.
• Strong knowledge of criminal law, procedures, and defense strategies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to effectively negotiate and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
