Delegating Nurse - Get Hired Fast

Spring Arbor Senior Living is seeking a skilled and compassionate Delegating Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Crofton, MD. The Delegating Nurse will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating nursing care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in accordance with established standards and regulations. The Delegating Nurse will develop positive relationships with team members, families, and residents on behalf of the community and Spring Arbor. Ideal candidates must perform all Delegating Nurse responsibilities per COMAR 10.07.14.20.

WHO WE WANT!

• Must be a Registered Nurse and Delegating RN with current licensure.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Previous experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Must also possess excellent management and communication skills, which are required to successfully coordinate care with the residents, staff and families.
• Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgement and tact in handling confidential matters.

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

• Advocate for all aspects of resident care, including case management and coordination of care, ensuring both the quality of care and the appropriateness of care are acceptable. This includes being a liaison with outside agencies, such as hospice, home health, physical therapy, med options, physicians, pharmacy, families, etc.
• Completes the comprehensive nursing assessment for residents on admission, re-admission, and every 45 days.
• Manage the clinical oversight of resident care in the Assisted Living
• Reviews and signs all incident/accident reports within regulatory time frame. Coordinates and implements all appropriate interventions.
• Reviews and updates the Nursing policies as needed in conjunction with the ALM and Director of Health & Wellness.
• Maintains compliance with all MD COMAR regulations governing assisted living.
