ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide friendly customer service
- Take and fulfill accurate special orders
- Quality Control
- Label items correctly
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and sales area
- Communicate effectively with coworkers
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all personnel
- Good oral and written communication skills; bi-lingual English/Spanish language skills a plus
- Complete understanding of all safety requirements and policies
- Knowledge of perishable food and food safety
- Requires proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: slicers, baler, oven, fryer, stove top, rotisserie, etc.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and multitask
- Must be self-motivated
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to handle working at fast speeds
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures
WORK SCHEDULE
- A deli clerk may work a first or second shift, and is required to work at least every other weekend.
