Department: Deli Reports to: Assistant Deli Manager, Deli Manager, and Foodservice Director
Summary
Prepares and serves food at the deli counter including juices, sandwiches, and hot bar items while providing friendly customer service.
Responsibilities
Prepare juices, smoothies, sandwiches, and serve hot food.
Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized.
Follow recipes and portioning guidelines.
Ensure proper food handling, rotation, and labeling.
Provide excellent service and respond to customer needs.
Qualifications
Prior experience in foodservice or deli preferred.
Customer service skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
Capable of lifting 30 lbs and standing for long periods.
Performance Expectations
Customer Service: No incidents of three stars or less in customer reviews.
Safety: Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Merchandising: Help the department achieve 95% or better in merchandising audits.
Profit: Help the store meet or beat profit budget.
