Deli Dept

Summary:

• Cook food as required.
• Prep meat for cook the next day (cut, season, mix or grind).
• Unload trucks and check in products
• Clean the Deli, work station in the meat department, the outside smoker, and the freezer.
• Wash dishes for the Deli department.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; kneel, crouch, or crawl; work on back to clean; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Must have steady hands for handling pots of boiling liquids; must not be prone to seizers for the safety reason of working by yourself with boiling water, open flames, saws and knives.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; work with the extreme cold in freezer (10 degrees); extreme heat; pollen, rain storms, hail, lightning, wind; risk of electrical shock and explosives (propane gas). Work around traffic in the parking lot; Work with bleach, power washer; handle, look and smell raw meat & blood.
