Delivery Assistant

Description

The Delivery Assistant is responsible for executing merchandising plans and work order instructions in the assigned stores in Okmulgee/Muskogee, OK. Assist in all facets of maximizing A&B's presentation and sales to consumers at retail.

This position offers a schedule of Monday-Friday and pays an hourly rate of $17.

Responsibilities:

• Abides by all Company requirements and policies written in the Associate Handbook.
• Adheres to all state and federal regulations and standards.
• Projects a positive image to all retailers, coworkers, and consumers, which is consistent with company expectations.
• Merchandise palletized delivery.
• Stock coolers, rotate stock, maintain existing displays and assist in building new displays.
• Maintain and account for all of Specialty Brands company equipment.
• Follow and execute Specialty Brands standard Delivery call.
• Is reliable and feels the accountability of the work they perform as a vital contributor to the team.
• Understands that a flexible work schedule may be required for this position.
• Attends all required company meetings.
• Assist with warehouse duties after deliveries as necessary.

Requirements

Required:

• Must be 18+ years of age or older with a Valid Driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

• 1+ years customer service or sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
• 1+ year of customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current valid Drivers License depending on location. This license must comply with our insurance carrier’s guidelines for an acceptable, insured driver. ABLE Commission license if employed in Oklahoma.
