Delivery Coordination Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Delivery Coordination Specialist to manage and oversee the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of deliveries. This role ensures that shipments are processed efficiently, deliveries are completed on time, and communication between drivers, warehouses, and customers remains seamless.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and assign routes to drivers
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Communicate with drivers, dispatch teams, and customers regarding delivery updates
• Resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies in real time
• Track and update delivery records in internal systems
• Ensure all documentation (invoices, manifests, proof of delivery) is accurate and complete
• Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Assist with inventory coordination and shipment planning
• Maintain compliance with company policies and transportation regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Previous experience in logistics, delivery coordination, dispatch, or a similar role is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, logistics software)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
