Delivery Driver

Are you hard working and highly self-motivated? Do you know your way around the local area and can you read a map? Do you have a valid driver's license and a good driving record? If so, we’re looking for a motivated team player with great customer service skills to join our team as a Delivery Driver! As a Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to pick up and deliver projects/orders and materials to/from vendors and customers in a timely and safe manner. As one of the primary direct contacts with our customers, you must represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a competent and personable image at all times.

Our ideal candidate is familiar with the surrounding area and can read a map/guide, has a valid driver's license and a good driving record, and has basic mechanical skills/knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking and topping off fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, performing vehicle safety checks, etc.). Strong communication and customer service skills required. Candidates must be able to travel to client sites and work in an environment that includes exposure to ink and chemical fumes, airborne particles (dust, drying powder, etc.), and loud noise levels.

COMPENSATION

• $16.00 - $18.00

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Coordinates with the production team to schedule daily deliveries and pick-ups


• Drives vehicle to and from destinations following all traffic laws


• Loads and unloads delivery goods


• Maintains vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition


• Informs supervisor of any vehicle problems


• Follows systems and procedures according to the company manuals


• Participates as a key player in the Production Team by supporting operations as needed


• Remains flexible to restructure schedule as needed


• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS   

• Must be familiar with the surrounding area and able to read a map/guide


• Must have knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation


• Valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle record required


• Hard working and self-motivated


• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written


• Appearance at all times must represent the company image


• Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Must be willing and able to work both indoors and out, including driving to meet with customers and prospects and being subject to the environments of customer facilities


• Must be willing and able to work in an environment that includes exposure to ink and chemical fumes, airborne particles (dust, drying powder, etc.), and loud noise levels


• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
