Delivery Driver - Appliances - Growth-Minded Organization

This is a perfect opportunity to supplement your income! The Delivery Driver / Appliance Installer is responsible for the installation and delivery of appliances sold by the Houston-Starr Appliance staff. This position is two, weekdays per week. The installer is also responsible for all related paperwork of work they have installed. They are to coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to assure that the proper appliance and accessories will be at the job site when the installer arrives. This includes helping load the truck should it be necessary. When performed to company standards this position will contribute to the overall organization and upkeep of the appliance branch which in turn will help the company be more efficient and profitable.

· Install appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.) sold by Houston-Starr Company.

· Make initial installation adjustments accordingly.

· Help load delivery trucks if assistance is needed.

· Provide excellent customer service with each delivery.

· Use of hand tools, power tools and the ability to accurately measure during the installation process.

· Disassemble and remove (if included in sale) existing appliances to install new appliances in customer homes.

· Apply appropriate safety procedures and equipment to protect company and customer assets.

· Perform all necessary and required paperwork.

Customer Satisfaction

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL-B preferred)

· Ability to work independently.

· Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds

Position can be direct hire or 1099 employee, depending on the individual's needs.
