Position Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/Sheet Metal Worker. This role is a blend of driving and hands-on shop work. The primary responsibility will be delivering orders to our customers complete and on time.  Clear and timely communication is essential for a successful delivery experience.  With customers in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, we serve a 325 mile radius from our manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When not on deliveries, this position will support our shop team with duct fabrication and related tasks.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A and/or Chauffeur's license and DOT medical card and will participate in random drug and alcohol screenings.


• Clear MVR


• 3+ Years prior experience driving


• Positive and effective verbal communication with Zinger team and customers


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety


• Responsible, reliable, honest and self-motivated


• Ability and willingness to assist loading & unloading freight at job site; lift 50 + pounds

• Mechanically inclined


• Experience with hand tools, can read a tape measure


• Experience using power tools


• Willing to learn, committed to quality & customer service


• Value teamwork and be able to work independently with need for little supervision


• Great communication skills


• Able to work Monday through Friday from 5 am to 3 pm. (40 to 50 hours per week)

Preferred:

• Prior sheet metal experience, but we will train the right candidate


• Sheet metal welding experience


• HVAC duct knowledge preferred
