Deloitte Global is looking for a Manager to work in its Global Risk Sensing (GRS) program, helping to lead and participate in a team that analyzes and monitors traditional media and social media to identify trends and developments in potential risks to Deloitte Global, the Deloitte network of member firms, the professions we operate in, and/or our competitors, while applying judgment to identify emerging risks/trends that may also have an impact. GRS also supports the network of Deloitte member firm risk sensing programs by providing leadership and guidance to member firms with new or established risk sensing programs.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a challenging-yet-rewarding environment within Deloitte Global Risk and is ideal for anyone seeking to gain exposure to the Deloitte Global organization, build leadership experience, and work with new and evolving information and concepts on a regular basis.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Supporting strategy development and priority setting of the GRS program; managing program execution


• Leading report development and media monitoring, including expectations-setting, supervising, and development/execution of report creation and media monitoring


• Managing team development, including coaching and managing other team members


• Leading processes to identify and share risk sensing leading practices, and promoting the adoption of consistent risk sensing processes, templates, and tools across the Deloitte network


• Maintaining and helping to further develop the risk sensing database (Salesforce platform); creating and managing reports in the Salesforce database


• Communicating and managing relationships with Deloitte Global businesses and enabling areas, and member firm risk representatives

Leading various risk sensing-related initiatives and projects to support the growth and evolution of the GRS program

Global Risk & Brand Protection protects, preserves and enhances the Deloitte brand. We navigate the dynamic risk landscape across the areas of risk management, confidentiality & privacy, cyber security oversight, regulatory, independence & conflicts, and Anti-Corruption/financial crimes. We foster trusting relationships across the Deloitte network through collaboration, facilitation and responsive guidance.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and essential skills:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Management Information Systems, International Business, Risk Management, Library Science, Technical Writing, Business Writing, or equivalent business experience


• At least 5 years of experience in a role focused in the following area(s): research, risk management, management or IT consulting, regulatory/public policy, data analytics, tracking and analyzing media, and/or social media trends


• Quality-focused and detail-oriented, with robust analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills


• Proven ability to lead, engage, and collaborate with individuals across various disciplines, cultures and backgrounds to achieve shared goals


• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills


• Proven ability to adapt with agility as well as work under tight deadlines with limited resources


• Strong project management and organizational skills


• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work productively both independently and/or remotely as well as in a virtual team environment


• Ability to think outside the box, identify trends, and build meaningful connections between seemingly disparate subjects as new information is presented in order to address complex risk-related topics


• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word


• Experience working in a professional services environment (strongly preferred)


• Experience using a social media listening technology


• Database experience, incl. use of Salesforce-based database technology


• Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data


• Multilingual abilities
