Demand & Deployment Analyst
Extendable Contract position
5+Month Contract
Preferably hybrid, with remote work potential located in Reynoldsburg, OH.Overview: The Inventory Deployment Analyst plays a crucial role in setting up forecasting and deployment processes for core beauty categories supporting VSG. This position entails close collaboration with various teams to ensure effective management of core inventory across regions and VSG Distribution Centers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop forward-looking sales forecasts for allocation and buying purposes, considering historical selling patterns, seasonal trends, and promotional activities.
- Formulate inventory deployment plans for global partners and coordinate VSG inventory receipt plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Set and maintain regional forecasting and deployment parameters, considering inventory levels, lead time, order cycle, and distribution logistics.
- Incorporate order size and frequency into inventory plans to meet sales, margin, and inventory objectives.
- Monitor partner order requests and adjust forecasts, partner allocations, and receipt plans based on business trends.
- Manage inventory to support major events such as product launches, promotions, and store openings or relocations.
- Build rapport with partners through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Identify and address inventory issues proactively, optimizing flow and reducing impact on business operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Merchandise Planning & Allocation (MP&A).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Availability to work EST hours.
