Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for all forecasting, demand planning, and revenue attainment activities associated with our customers and products. This pivotal role will contribute to the optimization of our supply chain by ensuring accurate demand signals and effective inventory management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain forecast models for assigned product lines and/or customers, incorporating inputs from various sources such as sales, marketing, and finance.
Lead the demand planning process, including the aggregation of demand across items, product lines, and regions.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data using statistical models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather forecast inputs and align on new product launch forecasts.
Monitor forecast performance and identify deviations, taking proactive measures to minimize service issues and excess inventory.
Maintain planning parameters within MRP software and ensure seamless data integration.
Provide operational support for order allocation and fulfillment during key fiscal deadlines.
Analyze market trends and anticipate shifts in demand to guide strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, business, or related field preferred.
10+ years of experience in supply chain management within manufacturing or retail environments.
Exposure to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Proficiency in forecasting and MRP software systems.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
