Demand Planning Analyst - Join a Market Leader

Currently I have an opening for Demand Planning Analyst/Production Planner located in Saint Petersburg, FL. Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for internal and external communication of brand forecasts, working with a subset of brand partners and SalonCentric Category Management to ensure appropriate availability of products from brands to our customers
• Provide regular and ad-hoc analyses (e.g. in-month projections, anticipated account inventory buy-downs, margin enhancement buy in’s…etc.) to gain endorsement to the forecast at the Customer/Brand level, with a focus on Regular Flow Business, Promotions, and New Product Launches
• Ensure alignment of Logility, SAP and Passport forecasts for long term planning
• Interact with vendors regarding planning strategies
• Accurately forecast (within a tolerance) demand for partner brand items
• Analyze performance and productivity of launches/promotions
• Size promotions and new items presented from partner brands in Passport tool
• Provide analysis to drive alignment on decisions related to Service and Inventory
• Coordinate and Collaborate with different members of Planning
• Provide continuous improvement to reporting (channel/brand summaries automated to lower levels, streamlined in-month reporting and projections, etc.)
• Analyze the business to identify opportunities to gain/optimize margin
• Minimize unproductive inventory via assortment planning, accurate forecasts and sku rationalization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Looking for someone with some heavy tech data analytics degree, ideally that has touched AI).
• 2+ years’ Demand/Production Planning Experience (The manager really needs someone who possess really good technical experience. Someone who can build reports is a need).
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Team Player, but also has an ability to work independently at times too
• Ability to challenge status quo and have professional disagreements with business partners
• Good with excel(ideally intermediate skill range)
• Forecasting background is preferred
• System work with any forecast (bonus points for Anaplan) is preferred
