The Role:
The

Demand Planning Manager

at Madison Reed possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in forecasting for an omni-channel business, particularly for direct-to-consumer, wholesale, Amazon, and four-wall salon and retail locations while thriving on deriving insights and projections from data analysis every day.
The

Demand Planning Manager , will be highly skilled in working with data and passionate about building tools to help manage and leverage data effectively for forecasting purposes. They will foster equally strong collaborations with internal stakeholders and will build robust relationships across cross-functional teams. Reporting to the

VP of Supply Chain , the base salary range for this position is between $110,000-$130,000, and includes travel to our Color Bars, and other events and meetings as needed. At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively; factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geographic location, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
Lead a core team to ensure a high level of forecast accuracy to drive inventory targets for all channels.
Coach and develop team member(s) to ensure the highest level of team culture, stakeholder satisfaction, and performance through aligning individuals' unique talents and abilities with the most relevant responsibilities.
Develop comprehensive forecast models by month and SKU, integrating various data sources.
Collaborate with channel segments and finance for new product launch forecasts and manage revisions.
Maintain weekly wholesale channel sell-in reporting and forecast future orders for revenue projections.
Monitor forecast accuracy, identify improvement opportunities, and track inventory targets.
Compile and report retail sales results weekly and monthly for each customer and product franchise.
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders including marketing, sales channels, supply chain, and finance to align demand plans with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and finalize demand plans, providing regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Provide updates and insight to the supply chain team, noting material increases or decreases in the forecast.
Support the onboarding of new retail partners as required, and help develop the forecast for launch and replenishment needs.
Work closely with leadership to recommend inventory allocation decisions to achieve service level targets.
Support business stakeholders with ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
Travel up to 15% as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred with strong relevant work experience.
5 - 8 years of sales and demand planning experience, preferably in a retail and CPG brand setting.
Proficiency in Excel-based modeling, analysis, and data manipulation; experience with NetSuite ERP or similar platforms is a plus.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and navigate ambiguous environments.
Rigorous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
