Dental Assistant

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated dental practice in North Reading to find a Dental Assistant. This is a full-time position paying $25-35/hour. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Dental Assistant in the state of MA, have strong organization skills and a positive, friendly attitude. Candidates must have a year of dental assisting experience.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5pm, 40 hours per week

Duties:

• Update and maintain client’s dental records
• Chart in Dentrix
• Perform routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
• Take and process X-rays of patients
• Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene

• High School Diploma
• MA Dental Assistant license/certification
• Radiology certificate
• Previous dental assisting experience, preferred
• Willingness to learn and grow with the practice

-Vacation: front loaded 2 weeks after 90 day probationary period

-Sick Time: state mandated at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, maximum 40 hours/year

-Holidays: 10 paid ( all 6 major plus President’s Day, Patriot’s Day, day after

Thanksgiving, and one day at doctor's discretion)

-Health Insurance: premium shared by company 50 for individual plans, 30% for dual & family,

HSA avail. with health insurance

-401K: can contribute after 90 day probationary period and the end of the quarter

-Profit Sharing: after 1 year

-Long-Term Disability: after 30 days - company pays 50% for individuals
