Dental Assistant

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is looking for a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support dentists in various procedures at a well known hospital and/or surriounding clinics ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate dental care. Your responsibilities will include preparing the treatment room, sterilizing instruments, assisting during dental procedures, and maintaining patient records.

As a Dental Assistant, you will also educate patients on oral hygiene and care practices, and help make their visits as comfortable as possible. We are committed to creating a positive working environment that fosters professional development and a team-oriented approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient flow to optimize efficiency in the practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Experience as a dental assistant is highly desired (minimum of 1 year).
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
