Your Schedule: Mon: 8 AM–7 PM, Tue: 8 AM–12 PM, Wed,Thu: 8 AM–5 PM, Fri,Sat: 8 AM–12 PM

 Pay rate: $20-$24/hr

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred
• Dental assisting certificate from an accredited vocational school preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of preventive and restorative dental procedures
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care

What You’ll Do as a Dental Assistant

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
• Take digital X-rays, panoramic images, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
