What You'll Do
Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
Help create an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate clinical records
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Review and discuss treatment plans with patients, helping them understand recommended care and next steps
Educate patients on oral health and treatment recommendations
Collaborate with a team dedicated to high-quality care and continuous improvement
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Hands-on dental assisting experience required
2–5 years of Dental Assistant experience preferred
Current NC Dental Radiography Certification required
Current CPR Certification or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
Ability to confidently and professionally discuss treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial information with patients
Experience with Denticon software is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills
Demonstrates independent thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to patient care
Dependable, punctual, and committed to regular attendance
Takes initiative and adapts well to changing priorities and responsibilities
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and willing to support other practice locations when needed
Ability to follow directions, take ownership of responsibilities, and maintain accountability
Committed to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding HIPAA standards
Attentive listener who seeks clarification when needed to ensure positive patient outcomes
