Dental Assistant - 4 1/2 day Work Week - 100% Employee Paid Health Insurance

The Staff Pad has partnered with a community health center outside of Tucson, Arizona. We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our client's organization that has been recognized as a "National Quality Leader" by the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate excellent patient relations skills, e.g.

Assist dentist and other assistants.

Oral hygiene instruction for group and individual.

Perform as receptionist. Operate telephone and three different computer software systems.

Regularly ensures adherence to OSHA blood borne pathogen rule of infection control and maintenance of clinic equipment.

Assist with inventory control & laboratory services tracking.

Perform accounting/bookkeeping activities, process payments for services, closing books and compile data for the daily, monthly and annual reports.

Prepare, process and mount intra oral and panoramic radiographs.

Keep informed on advancements in dentistry and dental public health –through demonstration of performance as a chairside dental assistant and attendance at continuing education courses.





Requirements

Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not required.

Experience in a Medical environment is required
High school diploma or equivalent.

Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
