We are seeking an experienced dental assistant to join our team. We need someone who can perform basic daily tasks such as clean & re-set exam rooms, assist during patient consults / surgery, and take x-rays and photos. Making the patient feel comfortable while waiting & maintaining complex client records with the utmost confidentiality is also very important.

Tasks:
Prepare & break down exam and surgical rooms
Sterilize instruments with care
Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records
Greet customers and help to answer any questions they might have
Assist in surgical procedures
Provide support to dentists, surgeons, and staff as needed
Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment
Using the following software programs daily: Dentrix, Dexis, Prexion, Eprescribe, Itero and Gmail
Skills and Requirements:
Prior experience as a dental assistant is requited with at least 2 years
Proficient in Taking Digital X-Rays
Dentrix & Dexis experience preferred
Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments
Exceptional customer service skills - this is a must
Strong knowledge of computer programs such as MS Office is a plus
Medical insurance is available through our office for purchase by the employee (pre-tax)
Paid time off - legal holidays and other holidays are benefits earned after the probationary period is over. Paid Vacation time is earned after 1 year and 3 years
Flexible schedule - Our office is open Monday - Friday at a total of almost 50 hours a week. Schedules are made based on the office's needs for full time 35-40 scheduled hours / week
