We are committed to delivering outstanding care and service, and we’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to help us support our patients and team.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Navigation: Research and interpret insurance policies, benefits, and exclusions to provide patients with accurate information.

EOB Review: Analyze and explain dental Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), including deductibles, co-pays, and insurance correspondence.

Pre-Authorization: Communicate pre-authorization requirements to patients both in-person and over the phone.

Patient Support: Guide patients through their treatment plans, billing statements, and payment options.

Dispute Resolution: Follow up with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and denied claims.

Financial Calculations: Accurately calculate co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.

Financial Programs: Assist patients with Care Credit and other financial assistance programs.

Clear Communication: Maintain open, professional communication with patients regarding their treatment, billing, and insurance.

Qualifications

Experience: 1-2 years of dental billing experience required.

Dental Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.

Insurance Expertise: Strong understanding of PPO, Union, Med-Type, HMO, and DMO insurance plans.

Verification Skills: Proficient in verifying insurance benefits and coverage.

Financial Acumen: Skilled in calculating co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs.

EOB Interpretation: Able to read and interpret EOBs and patient ledgers.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Proactive in researching and resolving billing and insurance issues.
