We're expanding rapidly and seeking a Dental Equipment Procurement and Renovation Specialist to help us drive excellence across our portfolio through strategic equipment sourcing, clinic renovations, and practice integrations.




Position Overview


The Dental Equipment Procurement and Renovation Specialist plays a key role in our national expansion and practice optimization strategy. This role is responsible for sourcing high-quality dental equipment, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating renovations or de novo practice builds from the equipment standpoint. You'll work closely with operations leaders, clinical directors, and construction teams to ensure every practice is equipped for top-tier patient care.

Key Responsibilities


Equipment Procurement & Vendor Management




  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with dental equipment vendors and service providers.




  • Standardize equipment packages across practices while accommodating specialty-specific needs.




  • Manage pricing agreements, service contracts, and vendor performance.




  • Track asset lifecycles, equipment warranties, and compliance documentation.




Renovation & Buildout Project Support




  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and IT/clinical teams during site planning.




  • Develop and manage equipment layouts for renovations, relocations, and de novos.




  • Oversee delivery, installation, and integration of all dental equipment.




  • Ensure equipment planning aligns with clinical workflows and operational goals.




Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration




  • Support the integration of newly affiliated practices by assessing, upgrading, or replacing equipment.




  • Maintain detailed project timelines, procurement budgets, and risk assessments.




  • Conduct site visits and provide equipment consultation for expansion and remodeling efforts.




  • Ensure all renovations meet OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant compliance standards.






Qualifications




  • 3+ years of experience in dental equipment procurement, practice renovations, or facility operations—preferably within a DSO environment.




  • Strong knowledge of dental operatory design, equipment standards, and manufacturer offerings.




  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing.




  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.




  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.




  • Ability to travel regionally or nationally as needed (approx. 20–40%).






Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience supporting multi-location dental operations or de novo practice builds




  • Familiarity with dental specialties (endo, oral surgery, ortho, etc.)




  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience




  • Working knowledge of CAD or dental design software
