Key Responsibilities

• Collect patient health histories and background information.
• Take x-rays as needed to support patient care.
• Prepare and maintain a clean, organized workspace for procedures.
• Perform comprehensive hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride varnish, placement of localized antimicrobial agents, and delivery of local anesthesia.
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices to support long-term care.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records.
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications:

• MA Registered Dental Hygiene License (required)
• MA local anesthesia license (required)
• CPR certification (required)
• Understanding of hygiene procedures
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication skills

Experience:

• Hygiene: We hire new grads
