Job Description:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and educating patients on proper oral hygiene. You will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to deliver comprehensive care in a comfortable and professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
- Take X-rays and interpret results.
- Assess and record the general oral health of patients.
- Provide patient education on oral care, hygiene practices, and preventive measures.
- Assist with periodontal charting and other diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and maintain a positive, caring environment.
- Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene.
- Valid state dental hygiene license.
- CPR certification.
- Proven experience as a dental hygienist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- A caring and compassionate approach to patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of current trends in dental hygiene practices and patient care.
