Keep Mi Smile in Athens and Coldwater, is looking for a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our team focuses on exceptional care to our patients and helping them keep their teeth and gums healthy for life. Ideal candidate would be available 3-5 days a week. We are open Monday-Friday with great hours, and we can be flexible with the days you wish to work. Duties: 
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Take dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and suctioning
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Curve)
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care. 

Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Knowledge of periodontal/soft tissue management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in medical records and documentation
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
- Strong understanding of oral anatomy and dental terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
