Dental Hygienist

Looking to join an awesome dental team? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care while ensuring a comfortable and positive patient experience. You will work closely with the dentist to support overall oral health and educate patients on proper hygiene practices.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings, including periodontal maintenance 
- Take and review dental x-rays
- Assess patient's oral health and report findings to dentist
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain and document accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization

Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Current NY state Dental Hygiene license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent clinical skills
- A team player who will add and flourish in our office
