Location: Tacoma, WA
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $120K to $140K per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Summary:
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide preventive care and support patient flow in a dental office using Dentrix. You will be part of a close-knit team with 1 Dentist, 1 Hygienist, and 2 Dental Assistants. The role includes cleanings, screenings, charting, and patient education, all contributing to efficient, well-coordinated care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental cleanings and preventive hygiene procedures
• Take and review dental x-rays as needed
• Examine patients for signs of gum disease, tooth decay, and other oral health concerns
• Record patient histories, chart conditions, and update treatment notes
• Educate patients on brushing, flossing, and home care habits
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants when appropriate
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical space

• Degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to take dental radiographs in accordance with state requirements
• Previous experience in a dental office preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
