Dental Hygienist

About the Role:
Our client is seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienists to join their mission-driven team across multiple locations. As a key member of the dental care team, you will be responsible for delivering preventative oral health care, conducting screenings, performing cleanings, and supporting patient education. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, conducting comprehensive medical and dental history intake.

  Perform intra- and extra-oral screenings, take radiographs, and conduct thorough dental assessments.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide prophylaxis cleanings, polish teeth, and perform root scaling and planing as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Educate patients on oral health and periodontal disease prevention.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with dentists to develop patient care plans and make referrals when necessary.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts.

  
  


• 
  

  Set up and break down treatment rooms; perform sterilization and lab tasks as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Answer phones and help with scheduling appointments when needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Support the security and organization of the dental center and uphold all safety protocols.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution – required

  
  


• 
  

  Valid Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license – required

  
  


• 
  

  Current CPR certification – required

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice software – preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, compassion, physical stamina, and interpersonal skills

  
  

Compensation:
Base Salary: $89,440 – $100,000 ($43.00 – $48.00/hour)
