Job Description - Dental Hygienist PT or FT

We are looking for a part-time and/or full-time hygienist to join our team!

We are offering a flexible schedule with the days and hours that make sense to you. Take them all or pick what works for you. Currently the office is open M, T, Th 9-6, Wed 12-7, Fridays 9-3, and some Saturdays 8:30-2:30pm.

We are a busy family practice with patients ready for your schedule. We truly work together as a team and are looking for someone to join us! We perform all phases of general dentistry. Our practice is up-to-date including digital xrays (including CBCT/PAN), Itero, paperless charting, etc.

Salary based on experience. We offer commission and bonus opportunities for all employees. A 401k match is available to full time employees. Must be licensed in NYS.

Pay: $47.00 - $55.00 per hour
Hours: choose from 12 – 35 per week

Day shift

Weekends as needed

We offer the typical general dentistry services, such as dental examinations, cleanings, and x-rays. We also offer cosmetic dentistry services, such as teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, and Invisalign invisible braces. Among the restorative dentistry services we offer are crowns and bridges, dental implants, and bone grafts.

At Smile Designs of Long Island, we realize how important it is to offer the latest in dental technology to make our patients’ visits as comfortable as possible. Our modern office includes an intraoral camera, digital radiographs, as well as nitrous oxide.

We also offer digital impressions, which are not only more accurate than traditional impressions but much more pleasant for our patients. We firmly believe that visiting the dentist should be as enjoyable as possible!
