About American Dental Companies (ADC)

At American Dental Companies, we are actively reshaping the dental industry landscape by combining the community-rooted warmth of local practice culture with modern technology, elite operational infrastructure, and centralized executive support.

Operating out of our Phoenix Central Support Center, our specialized administrative teams handle high-level operations so our partner practices across the country can focus on what matters most: exceptional patient care. We are looking for a goal-oriented, high-energy Dental Patient Communication Specialist to join our tight-knit, collaborative Recare Department.

The Role: What You'll Do

As a Dental Patient Communication Specialist, you are the voice of ADC. Operating in a non-clinical, administrative office environment, you will manage high-volume outbound calling and digital text communications to re-engage existing patients across our dental network. Your primary mission is to help patients stay on track with their oral health by overcoming scheduling barriers and booking their routine hygiene and continuing care appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Volume Patient Outreach: Execute daily outbound phone calls, text message campaigns, and follow-ups to reconnect overdue patients with their local ADC dental office.

  • Strategic Appointment Scheduling: Navigate multiple dental practice management software systems to find, book, and optimize hygiene schedules across multiple practice locations.

  • Objection Handling & Education: Confidently, kindly, and assertively address patient concerns, overcome scheduling objections, and articulate the value of routine dental care.

  • Practice Collaboration: Maintain open lines of direct communication with local office staff regarding provider availability, schedule density, and specific patient needs.

  • Documentation & Metric Tracking: Meticulously record all outreach attempts, patient responses, and confirmed bookings in our system to track daily output and hit weekly performance targets.

  • Team Synergy: Contribute to a highly supportive, positive team dynamic where flexibility, mutual support, and shared goals drive daily success.

What We Are Looking For

  • Communication Powerhouse: Clear, articulate, confident, and warm phone voice. You know how to project kindness while maintaining the professional assertiveness needed to schedule appointments.

  • Dental & Healthcare Experience: 1+ years of experience in dental scheduling, hygiene recare, or dental front office operations strongly preferred. Call center, high-volume healthcare scheduling, or customer service experience will also be considered.

  • Tech & Systems Savvy: Ability to comfortably navigate dental practice management software (Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.), messaging platforms, and patient databases simultaneously.

  • Mindset & Drive: Ambitious, coachable, punctual, and self-motivated. You thrive in a goal-oriented environment and enjoy turning a "no" or "maybe" into a confirmed appointment.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Great Work-Life Balance: Enjoy an early shift end every single Friday (off at 3:00 PM)!

  • Positive Team Culture: Work on-site in a quiet, admin-only office environment (no direct patient foot traffic) alongside a small, highly collaborative group that genuinely supports one another.

  • Clear Expectations: Comprehensive training provided during your first two weeks, with structured metric milestones to set you up for long-term success by day 90 and beyond.
