New Rochelle Dental Practice is seeking a friendly, reliable, personable and organized Dental Receptionist to manage our front desk and help patients feel welcome and cared for.

Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a warm, welcoming attitude
Schedule, confirm and manage appointments using dental practice software
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries and handle patient communications
Verify insurance eligibility and process claims
Collect and record payments, co-pays and billing information
Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience as dental receptionist or in a similar front desk role
Proficient in dental practice management software (Dentrix) preferred
Strong understanding of dental terminology, insurance procedures and HIPAA compliance
Excellent communication, multitasking and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Dr. Manny Ashraf was raised in Bethpage, NY. He attended Binghamton University and following graduation he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine. After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Ashraf completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY where he served as Chief Resident. Dr Ashraf then went on to complete a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry and Advanced Prosthodontics from NSUH.
