Description

Dr. Heir is looking for a Surgical Assistant to join his team! Our Surgical Assistants assist the doctors in scheduling, educating, preparation, execution and follow up for patients receiving treatment in the practice. The Surgical Assistant helps to provide an excellent experience for the patient and helps to drive efficiency and productivity throughout the practice. The Surgical Assistant also helps to ensure a safe and sterile environment in which to perform treatment.

MON- THURS- 7:30am-4:30pm 

FRIDAY - 6:30am-1:30pm 

Requirements

RDA/OS experience required

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or vocational certification preferred

· WinOms software experience a plus

· Prefer CPR/BLS, ACLS, and X-Ray

· Have an excellent understanding of oral surgery procedures and exceptional hand-eye coordination.

· Sound knowledge of how to use surgical equipment, instruments, and materials.

· A good understanding of surgical techniques, chairside responsibilities, and health and safety protocols.

· An excellent understanding of dental records, charts, and documentation

· Highly organized and attentive to patients' needs

· Ability to handle stress in a professional and mature method

· Ability to complete training in three months

· Ability to interact with various types of personality internally and externally

· Must practice regular and predictable attendance.
