Patient Volume: | Approximately 18 patients/day - The dentist will be scheduled to see 22 patients but our no-show rate is quite high so on average a dentist would see 18 patients per day. This would be a 3 month commitment with the option to extend. |
Procedures: | General Dentistry - all ages; younger children to older adults. Fittings for Dentures Have a crown making machine on site - experience with crowns is a plus but not a must. The dental director did the crowns, but now that he's gone they don't have anyone to do them. 2 full time dental providers 1 Dental hygienist 1 Dental assistants for each provider and 1 float that goes between 2 dental clinics 3 chairs per dentist. 3 assistants per dentist and 1 RDH. There will be two full-time dentist and a part-time RDH at the site. Scope of Work i.e. volume of patients seen, exact procedures, supervision of employees, any other expectations : See 20-24 patients per day providing comprehensive preventive and restorative dental care. Yes, extractions are performed but no impacted molar removal. You’d help guide 2 RDAs, but no supervision responsibilities. Team-based care and knowledge of Medi-Cal service limitations. Dental procedures we perform. Crowns (crown prep followed by a crown delivery appt) Dentures/Partials Extractions Fillings Exams (New patient and recalls) SDF (done by RDA in chair 2 or 3 but DDS oversees) Sealants (done by RDA in chair 2 or 3 but DDS oversees) Scale and Root Planning Adult Prophy (sometimes on a provider schedule or in chair 2 or 3 for RDA to finish) |
