Exciting Opportunity: General Dentist at Robert C Scheele DDS and Associates in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

Robert C Scheele DDS and Associates in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking an experienced and compassionate Lead General Dentist to join our team! Our legacy Dentist, Dr Scheele, is looking to start the transition into retirement so we are looking for a Dentist who is willing to take on the Lead Dentist role when he retires in late 2025.

Our small modern practice takes pride in creating a supportive and rewarding practice for both our patients and our team. Our well-established practice serves a loyal patient base of approximately 2,600, with an average of 20 new patients joining per month. This is a fulfilling work environment where providers can thrive professionally while maintaining a strong work-life balance. 

Potential start date of September 2025 (flexible).

As a General Dentist, you will work closely with our other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients. We are open to part-time or full-time depending on the right fit for our new team member! Experience with endo and/or oral surgery would be preferable and possibly experience with Botox and fillers as well.

Our dedicated team includes:

• A Full-Time Office Manager
• Two Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienists
• One Full-Time Dental Assistant focused entirely on chairside assisting
• One Multi-Functional Dental Assistant who plays a key role in both chairside assisting and front desk duties

Our office offers a comprehensive range of services, including crowns and bridges, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, implant restorations, extractions, and dentures, with the capability to add root canal therapy if Dr prefers. We provide care to patients of all ages, but most of the practice consists of patients over the age of 16. Our daily schedule typically includes 10-12 patients in the doctor's schedule (depending on doctor’s preferences), in addition to approx. 14-16 hygiene exams per day. 

Our office is equipped with trusted tools to provide efficient, high-quality patient care, including:

• Digital X-rays
• Intraoral Cameras in Every Operatory
• Paperless Charting System
• Panoramic Machine
• Itero digital impression scanning
• Computer assisted anesthesia system  (The Wand)
• Tooth Gems 

Schedule: up to 4 days per week (flexible)

• Tues 8 AM - 5 PM
• Wed 8 AM - 5 PM
• Thur 7 AM - 3 PM
• Fri 7 AM - 12 PM

Insurances:

• We partnered with a third party administrator TPA (careington) 
• Delta dental premier provider
• Our practice makes up around 80% insurance and 20% FFS

Compensation:

• Up to 35% collections minus 50% lab fees
• Quarterly bonus (True-up)
