This position will provide support for the activities and initiatives of the Center for Positive Leadership at the University of Louisville, including managing events, facilitating marketing and communication of Center activities and events, coordinating the business operations of the Center, and daily operations.
This 40 hour/week position is funded through a grant until June 30, 2028, and is subject to the availability of funds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meeting & Event Planning:
Manage registrations.
Coordinate and distribute marketing materials.
Plan and execute event activities, including scheduling logistics, coordinating presentation materials, arranging parking, overseeing event setup, and resolving on-site issues.
Make reservations and process payments in accordance with program needs and University purchasing/procurement policies.
Marketing & Communications:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Center and the Marketing and Communications Department.
Create graphic design pieces (Marq) based on university branding standards.
Manage the Center’s Social Media accounts (Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn).
Maintain mailing lists.
Update and maintain the Center’s website.
Distribute communications and updates to Center constituents as needed.
Support Other Center Initiatives
Coordinate the selection for the Fellows in Positive Leadership.
Administer student support funds in partnership with the College Business Office and Financial Aid
Office Operations:
Monitor budget allocations and spending. Assist the Director with budget proposals and preparation.
Process payments in accordance with university guidelines and maintain a university Procurement Card.
Maintain thorough knowledge of university purchasing policies and advise Center leadership on required procedures.
Act as a liaison with the Development staff regarding philanthropic gifts and grants.
Recruit and manage student workers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years' experience of program support experience.

Target Compensation Maximum:
$32.17Target Compensation Minimum:
$21.45Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
