DEPARTMENT MANAGER RECEIVING (TULSA/FT) Safety Sensitive - Driving

Pay: $50-$60k

Schedule: 10 PM - 7 AM, Wednesdays & Sundays Off

EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR DEPT. MANAGER RECEIVING:

• Oversee employees in the receiving area perform the following tasks, but not limited to:
  
  
  
  • Unloading delivery trucks
  
  
  • Placing merchandise in proper staging area
  
  
  • Gaining knowledge of merchandise
  
  
  • Labelling and scanning of all merchandise properly with scan guns to ensure an accurate inventory count
  
  
  
  


• Assigning daily assignments and responsibilities


• Train Receiving Team members on company procedures for receiving merchandise


•  Conduct team building and communication exercises assigned by management


• Enforce disciplinary actions, conduct reprimands, counseling sessions, and commendations


• Ensure that all employees are using proper lifting techniques


• Provide leadership to support the overall communications between all departments


• Delegate responsibility appropriately


• Plan and organize efficiently and effectively, communicate goals and performance metrics to team members regularly


• Other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR DEPT. MANAGER RECEIVING OVERNIGHTS: Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; working knowledge of computer systems; advanced knowledge, and ability to train on scan gun procedures; positive attitude when working with customers;  Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; knowledge of employment, merchandise, and safety procedures. Supervisory experience .

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 30 lbs. constantly to move objects. 

Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
