With Northrop Grumman, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to be an essential part of projects that will define your career, now and in the future.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Aeronautical Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Configuration Analyst (level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Beale AFB, CA. \n\nYou will plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Review contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinate modification records for management control. Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. \n \nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree and 8 years of relevant configuration analyst experience; OR Master\u2019s degree and 6 years of relevant configuration analyst experience.\n\n * Experience in specifying, collecting, processing, and presenting information from potentially several disparate data sets.\n\n * Experience working in Plans Scheduling \u0026 Documentation (PS\u0026D) or Maintenance Operations Center (MOC).\n\n * Experience with technical data and electronic technical manual change processes.\n\n * Experience in using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel products.\n\n * Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.\n\n * Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. \n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience supporting aircraft mechanical and avionics systems.\n\n * Experience evaluating engineering changes for implementation.\n\n * Flightline experience.\n\n * Aircraft Maintenance experience.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
