Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and bilingual (Spanish/English) Deployment Engineer specializing in network deployments with strong expertise in Mellanox technologies. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting network deployments, ensuring optimized performance and reliability across client infrastructures. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Mellanox products, a deep understanding of networking concepts, and troubleshooting capabilities for complex network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and deploy network solutions utilizing Mellanox hardware and technologies.
    
  
  
  • Configure, test, and support InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions, ensuring optimal performance for client requirements.
    
  
  
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project needs, propose tailored solutions, and provide best practice guidance.
    
  
  
  • Perform on-site installations, configurations, and troubleshooting as needed.
    
  
  
  • Monitor and maintain network deployments to ensure high availability and performance.
    
  
  
  • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams for ongoing operations.
    
  
  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, maintaining clear documentation and escalation protocols.
    
  
  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, and project management) to streamline deployment processes.
    
  
  
  • Occasional travel to Mexico to provide hands-on support and ensure successful deployment outcomes.
    
  
  

  Required Skills & Qualifications:
  

  
  
  
  
  • Experience with Cumulus OS, OSPF, BGP, and Campus WAN (MANDATORY).
    
  
  
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering or deployment, with emphasis on Mellanox technologies.
    
  
  
  • Hands-on experience with InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions, switches, and related networking hardware.
    
  
  
  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
    
  
  
  • Proficiency in Mellanox hardware and tools (e.g., Mellanox OFED, SwitchX, Spectrum).
    
  
  
  • Audit and compliance background required.
    
  
  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
    
  
  
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (preferred but not required).
    
  
  
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Mexico for project-based assignments.

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) for streamlined deployment processes.
    
  
  
  • Familiarity with other networking hardware and technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
    
  
  
  • Network engineering certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.
