Deployment Specialist / Generator Technician (California)

We’re hiring a Deployment Specialist / Generator Technician to support generator deployment, retrieval, fueling, and maintenance across California. 🔧 About the Role

As a key member of our field operations team, you will:

• Travel to job sites (~80% travel) across California to support equipment deployment and service.


• Deploy, retrieve, refuel, and maintain portable generator units.


• Operate trailers, trucks, forklifts, and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.


• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and basic troubleshooting.


• Maintain accurate documentation including fuel logs, service records, and safety reports.


• Work outdoors in all weather conditions while following strict Cal/OSHA safety standards.

This role is ideal for those with experience in field service, mechanical work, power generation, diesel/gas engines, or equipment operations.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

• Valid CA driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical


• OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid, and Forklift training) (or willingness to obtain)


• 1 year of generator deployment, generator field service, or related mechanical/equipment experience (preferred, not required)


• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor job‑site environments


• Strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive, safety‑first approach


• Reliability, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field

• $38.00–$42.00 per hour (DOE) — California SB 1162 compliant
