The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Financial Officer to serve as the principal assistant to the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial management activities, initiatives, and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting priorities, establishing guidelines, and performance expectations for staff members. This role involves coordinating and leading the creation of financial statements in compliance with government regulations, and overseeing reporting functions as required by financial management acts. The Deputy CFO will also ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information in the general ledger, and conduct internal controls and financial accounting activities.Applicants for the Deputy Chief Financial Officer position at the company must be U.S. citizens or nationals and meet the specialized experience requirements, which include a minimum of one year at the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. The role demands expertise in federal budgetary, accounting, and contracting policies, as well as the ability to provide guidance using Federal statutes of financial management. Experience in planning, directing, and leading financial administration or budgeting processes is essential, as is the ability to collaborate with senior managers and external stakeholders to address financial management issues. The position requires a Top Secret security clearance and is critical-sensitive in terms of risk.
