About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy CISO to join their mission of protecting and propagating trust by revealing the cybertruth. This role is pivotal in assisting the Chief Risk, Security, and Information Security Officer in the day-to-day operations of the Information Security Office and supporting the managers of GRC and Physical/Personnel Security teams. The successful candidate will be the functional backup to the CRSISO and must possess strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to communicate technical information effectively, and the confidence to engage with individuals at all levels, including senior management, vendors, and service providers. The Deputy CISO will also contribute to the IT security and ExtraHop product security strategy and roadmap, and demonstrate strong program and project management skills.Applicants for the Deputy CISO position should have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in information technology, with at least 5 years' in information security, and 5 more than years' in a leadership role at the Director, VP, or CISO level. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, EC-CISO, and technical expertise in security technologies, network security, cloud security, and application security. The role demands strong leadership, business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to mentor a team of security professionals. Responsibilities include collaborating to develop the organization's cybersecurity strategy, maintaining enterprise IT security policies, overseeing cybersecurity operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
