Deputy Clerk I

Basic Qualifications:

1.    Computer experience required.
2.    Ability to handle money and maintain a balanced drawer required.
3.    Cooperative, friendly disposition with customers and co-workers required.
4.    Ability to work independently required.
5.    Ability to perform extremely detailed work required.
6.    Ability to follow instructions from supervisor required.
7.    individual must be honest, trustworthy and of good moral character.

Examples of job duties:

1. Process Motor Vehicle Transactions. 

2. Process Ad Valorem Tax Payments. 

3. Work at all tax office locations based on needs of department.

4. Any other duties assigned by the Tax Assessor-Collector.
